Hailey Lauren Photography

(740) 513-8799

This is the one of the days that you will remember for the rest of your life, and we are so honored that we get to be there with you to capture it. As a husband and wife team, we know first-hand how important these memories are. We treasure your wedding day as much as we treasured our own.

Becoming friends before the big day is so important to us. We gently guide, using our knowledge of light and composition, to help make you and your photographs become their most authentic and beautiful.

We would love to sit down for coffee with you so you can tell us your plans. It is going to be beautiful.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How long have you been a wedding photographer?

We started together as a husband/wife team in 2012.

  2. How many weddings have you shot?

    Over 200

  3. How would you describe your photography style?

Light and airy, but with enough contrast to still keep the look timeless

  4. How would you describe your working style?

No one should need to know what to do when they step in front of the camera. We constantly guide and talk you through movements so you look comfortable and natural

  5. How far in advance do I need to book my wedding photographer?

We usually book popular wedding dates (May/June/September/October) a year and a half in advance.

It's good to start talking to photographers as soon as you get engaged!

  6. What sets your work apart from that of other photographers?

We believe it's really important to be friends with our clients before your wedding day. Engagement sessions and meetings are all useful tools for us so that you are so comfortable you hardly notice we are photographing your wedding day.

  7. Do you ever bring more then one photographer to the event?

At every wedding, Hailey is the primary photographer and Cody is the secondary photographer. We think its important to capture multiple angles of the day, and also for the groom to have his own "getting ready" photographer

  8. Do you have a portfolio I can review? Are all of your images yours and present work?

Are all of your images yours and present work? You can view our blog to see a recap of all the weddings we have shot! And we would be happy to show you more in person

  9. What type of equipment do you use?

    We photograph with Nikon equipment

  10. Can I give you a list of specific shots we would like?

We prefer not to work with a "shot list". Our style is very natural and in the moment, and we often find that lists take away from that process. We do provide an online "planning" packet where you can let us know certain details you don't want missed, like photographs of loved ones or special reception shots.

  11. Can you put together a slideshow of the engagement session along with other photos we provide and show it during the cocktail hour?

We LOVE when we see our photos displayed at the reception. Often a DJ will be able to provide the equipment to do this

  12. What time will you arrive at the site and how long will you shoot?

Our packages are based on the time that we arrive, to when we leave. Our current packages range from 6 to 10 hours, and we will help you craft a timeline when we meet so you know how long you may need our services.

  13. If my wedding lasts longer than expected, will you stay? Is there an additional charge for this?

We don't like to interrupt a bride and groom to ask them if they would like for us to stay longer. If we anticipate you may need more time looking at your timeline, we discuss the possibility and pre-arrange if you would like us to stay longer if we haven't reached a certain event.

  14. What kind of photography packages do you offer?

We offer three packages, based on time. All of our packages include printing rights, and an engagement session to get to know you. Our largest package includes a custom album, but we offer additional albums and prints A La Carte as well.

  15. Can I customize a wedding photo package based on my needs?

All of our packages are customizable with adding on time or albums.

  16. Do you provide retouching, color adjustment or other corrective services?

We don't retouch photos other than our editing and brightening process. We can direct you to another company if you require more adjustment.

  17. Do you provide retouching, color adjustment or other corrective services?

We don't retouch photos other than our editing and brightening process. We can direct you to another company if you require more adjustment.

  18. What type of album designs do you offer? Do you provide any assistance in creating an album?

We have many album choices. We design and let you preview to make any changes before you order.

  19. What is the photo ordering process?

You can order photos directly from your online album if you would like. Or, you can take your photos and print at another location.

  20. What is the time frame I will receive my photos after ordering?

We offer photos within three weeks from your date.

  21. How much of a deposit do you require and when is it due?

To book your date, we require 20% of your total cost (after tax). The remaining 80% is due two weeks before your wedding

  22. What is your refund/cancellation policy?

The 20% Retainer Fee to book your date in nonrefundable in the event that you cancel your services with us, and we are unable to rebook your wedding date.  If you need to change your wedding date, we can help you move do a new date that we are available.

  23. Do you provide a written contract?
